Description
An intermittent problem can occur when using an Oracle database where MFT Internet Server gets the following exception:
Internet Server Error: EncryptKeyDBAccess.getKeysByName: Caught an exception IO Error: Operation interrupted

Resolution
To resolve the issue, add the following parameter to <install>/server/bin/setenv.sh for Unix or the <install>\server\bin\setenv.bat for Windows and restart the MFT Internet Server:
"-Doracle.jdbc.javaNetNio=false"
Note, if running on Windows as a service, add the parameter to the Service Java Options: 
"-Doracle.jdbc.javaNetNio=false"
