How to insert automatically updating items in Enterprise report? for example, report editing date, time, user, machine name, and Statistica version.

Resolution

1. Locate the Enterprise report in Enterprise Manager, click on "Edit Report" in the report information window, or right click on the report item to display the drop-down menu, select "Edit report"

2. Enterprise report is then opened for editing. Click on "Insert Report Item" on top of the ruler in the report editing window. Click on "Insert Parameters" In the "Insert Report Item" dialog

3. In the pop-up dialog, choose the term to be inserted into the report, like Date, Time, Statistica Version, User, Machine name, Output monitor, etc.

4. For illustration, take Date, Time, Machine, and Statistica version as examples. After inserting those terms in the report, the content will be similar as below:

5. Click "Run", the inserted items will be automatically updated as real values, like editing date, time, machine, and Statistica version.

Meanwhile, the report will be converted to a PDF file and allow the user to save the report to a local drive.
