Description

Error when trying to select a parameter for query in an interactive query via WebStatistica. The error displayed is : "fc_OPERATOR[]" with selected item "equals" is overlapping "fc_COLUMN_CHOICES[]" selection list.



This is a known issue that is specific to Statistica 13.2.

Issue/Introduction

WebStatistica error on using interactive filtering. Error is :  "fc_OPERATOR[]" with selected item "equals" is overlapping "fc_COLUMN_CHOICES[]" selection list.

Resolution

You may upgrade your Statistica installation to version 13.3.0 or higher  version of Statistica by downloading the installer from edelivery.tibco.com. If you want to keep the 13.2 installation and this issue affects you, you may open a case in support.tibco.com and request for Statistica hot-fix : V132HFS01A or  V132UPD001  that addresses this issue.

This Hot Fix can be applied to a 13.2 installation . Download the file and unzip the file to a known location

On the WebStatistica server :

  1.  Stop the WebStatistica Service
  2. Backup the following files in following directories by renaming with .BAK extension
WebSTATISTICAPub\RepositoryRoot\webSTATISTICA.xsl
WebSTATISTICAPub\RepositoryRoot\System\FileSaveAs.svb
WebSTATISTICAPub\RepositoryRoot\System\SEWSS\ExploreProfile.cpp
WebSTATISTICAPub\wwwroot\js\Shared.js
WebSTATISTICAPub\wwwroot\js\copytomydir.js
WebSTATISTICAPub\wwwroot\js\savecopy.js
WebSTATISTICAPub\wwwroot\js\slidersettings.js
WebSTATISTICAPub\wwwroot\js\whatifsetting.js
    3. Copy the above files from the ZIP file into the respective directories

    4. Restart the WebStatistica instance.


V132UPD001 is a .exe file that can be run.
