This article explains how to specify warning limits in an analysis configuration for IQC chart.
There are two places to specify warning limits within Enterprise, either in the data configuration or in the IQC analysis configuration:
In the data configuration:
1. Under the Query, select the target variable
2. Select "Specification" as Target Type and select "Upper Warning Line(UWL)"/"Lower Warning Line(LWL)” as Specification Type
In the IQC analysis configuration:
1. Select SPC Characteristics | Value | Specifications
2. If you want to specify warning limits by queried value, click "SQL wizard/Advanced SQL Wizard" to select the column or enter sql scripts under "Specification SQL Statement".
3. Click "Add" to use queried value or use static value from one of the three types: p value/multiple of sigma/LWL(UWL) entered value
For instance, this following example uses static value at the "center line +/- 20*sigma" as the Upper/Lower Warning limit.
4. Under SPC Characteristics | Value | Pattern, you can define the line pattern for warning limits.
