Does Statistica support opening password protected excel files?

Description
This article reports that Statistica is not able to open password encrypted excel files.
When trying to open a password encrypted/protected excel file from Statistica File | Open menu, Statistica gives error message either "File format not supported" or "Could not find data stream in specified file.".
This problem also occurs to "Import Excel" node in workspace.

Resolution
The function of popping up a dialog for user to enter password is an Excel functionality. Statistica does not have control over it. Therefore, Statistica only support no password encrypted excel files.
Issue/Introduction
Statistica does not support to open password protected excel files.
