Description

Default credentials do not work and we cannot login to manage or complete setup of Statistica:

Unable to login

Possible causes include:

  • Missing or corrupt database tables
  • Connecting to incorrect database
  • Connecting to an empty database (no schema)

Issue/Introduction

After a fresh install of Statistica Enterprise, the default credentials do not work

Environment

Windows operating systems only.

Resolution

If tables are missing in the database or if no tables appear after the installation, delete the database and create a new database instance and re-install Statistica.  This will force the creation of the new database schema.  Otherwise, if there is a backup of the database, restore the backup database.
