Description

An IQC analysis configuration can be run interactively or through a scheduled task in Webstatistica. If the IQC graph is run interactively, the active dataset/spreadsheet can be reviewed in Webstatistica, which will be discussed in this article. However, if the IQC graph is run through a scheduled task that is not part of your current logged-in session, the spreadsheet is unavailable after the fact.

Cause:

When reviewing results from a scheduled analysis job in Webstatistica, the underlying data is unavailable, since it is not part of the actual job results page and would be lost once the WebStatistica session expires. But when running an analysis interactively in Webstatistica, a temporary data will be created for the current analysis and can be retrieved.

Issue/Introduction

How to view the underlying data after running an IQC chart from Webstatistica?

Environment

Windows

Resolution

To view the underlying data from an IQC analysis job interactively run through Webstatistica:

If using an IE browser, click Tools|Review Current Data Set.

Or if using another type of browser such as Chrome, try the workaround below (This method works for both chrome and IE. But the above method won't work for Chrome due to compatibility issue):

1. Select File|"Copy Dataset to My Directory".

2. Select File|View Statistica Document, and select the spreadsheet from "My Directory" to view a summary of it or download it locally.

Note: Click File|View Statistica Document, you can also directly view the results under "My Temporary Files"|"Unnamed" folder. A temporary file is created there with the name SWMON.sta.
