Description
Installation of SQLEXPRESS failed during the installation of Statistica and also when the attempt to install manually (see How to install SQL Express manually for use with the Statistica Server metadata database). Some possible errors include:
- Reference to "SeSecurityPrivilege"
- Setup account privileges
Cause: Setup privileges are restricted.
Environment
Windows operating systems only. SQL Server Express 2008 and above.
Resolution
Local security policy must be changed before installing SQLEXPRESS. See SQL Server installation fails if the Setup account doesn't have certain user rights
