Description
Certain other users see option to "Export Data" and "Download from Server" when they are logged into Enterprise Server. This option is grayed out or missing for certain users. How can this be enabled for these users?
Cause: Statistica Enterprise server (or WebStatistica) allows for multiple layers of security. For a user with basic permissions (part of SWS_USER and other appropriate Enterprise groups) , this might be as expected.

Resolution
Permissions on Statistica Enterprise Server are controlled by the WebStatistica windows groups on the Enterprise server.
1. Remote into Statistica Enterprise Application Server as an administrator. Launch Control Panel >> System and Security >> Administrative Tools >> Computer Management.
2. Navigate to Local Users and Groups | Groups and look for "SWS_*" list of groups. Find the group named "SWS_DOWNLOADFILES".
3. Double click on the group and type user or users in the format "Domain\Username" .Click Add to add the user. Click OK.
4. Click on OK in the SWS_DOWNLOADFILES Properties dialog again.
Result : The option to export data and Download from Server will be available to the user or users added to this group.
