Description
The IIS roles and features described in this article are required for the successful installation of WebStatistica on the application server. The installer will throw a warning if the required features are not enabled.
Note that depending on the version of Windows the roles and features may be listed slightly differently.

The following Windows features /IIS Settings need to be enabled/installed on the machine by an adminstrator before installing Statistica Enterprise Server. Note that on newer version of Windows the below roles and features are listed under Web Server(IIS)
1. Internet Information Services>> Web Management Tools>> IIS 6 Management Compatibility >> IIS Metadatabase and IIS 6 configuration compatibility

To enable the above windows features,
On Windows 7, launch Control Panel | Programs and Features |Turn Windows Feature On or Off as shown below
On Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2012/2016, launch Control Panel | Administrative Tools | Server Manager and look for the Web Server (IIS) under Roles in tree view and install the roles mentioned above. After all the roles are installed, the server manager's IIS roles should like the below screenshot. See below for SQL Server 2016
