Description
You may come across following error while installing TIBCO Spotfire Node Manager 7.5 and later. Refer the attached screenshot (Filename: NodeManager_Installation_Error.png).

This error generally appears when the machine on which you are installing the Node Manager has an operating system which is not supported.
As stated in the TIBCO Spotfire Server system requirements (https://docs.tibco.com/pub/spotfire/general/sr/GUID-D72E1F55-7688-4941-B458-0C1217A84D9A.html):
To run any Spotfire services (TIBCO Spotfire® Web Player, TIBCO Spotfire® Automation Services, or TIBCO® Enterprise Runtime for R - Server Edition) on a computer, the computer must first have a node manager installed. There is no separate system requirement for the node manager; this is covered by the requirements for the service.
So, refer to the system requirements for the service(s) that you will use, such as the Web Player (https://docs.tibco.com/pub/spotfire/general/sr/GUID-E3067E24-59D4-43D1-A53C-02031CBFC701.html)
