Description

Error:
The request timed out.

Resolution

The error indicates that a request to the source or target datastore was not successful. There can be many causes including increased network traffic, the amount of data requested or being sent exceeds the capacity of the sending/receiving system, agent ports are not open as recommended. 

Use Filters to reduce the amount of data being requested. See Block Properties Filters Tab

Review the system requirements for the Agent, including which ports are required for Agent communication to the Cloud: See System Requirements

If your On-Premise Agent is installed behind a firewall or you use a proxy server, make sure you have met the requirements that allow the Agent to communicate: See Installing An On-Premise Agent With Proxy Servers Or Firewalls

If the error continues to occur, open a Support case for further assistance.
