How to resolve the error : "HRESULT: 80131501 Description: SOAP Server Application Faulted SDMS error information HRESULT: 80040504 Description: Permission Denied"?
Resolution
1. Logon to SDMS Server and launch the "SDMS Administration" with the credentials of an SDMS Administrator - either as default admin or as a user is part of the System Administrators group.
2. Navigate to Groups>> Document Administrators and ensure that the user seeing the error is part of the "Document Administrators group" . If they already are, lookup the user used for fallback authentication. See:
https://support.tibco.com/s/article/How-to-configure-fallback-authentication-in-Enterprise-Manager and ensure this user is part of the document administrators group. If either the user seeing the error or the SDMS user mentioned for fallback authentication is not part of the document administrators group, click on Add and select the SDMS user and click OK.
