The below error message may be returned by the Business Directory while adding a TDV site to TIBCO Business Directory:
ABORTED. Cause: <br>Site introspection failed. The WSDL for web service 'Vertica' could not be located at<br> http://10.10.100.10:8400/soap11/test?WSDL [bd-200673] - Cause: WSDLException: faultCode=PARSER_ERROR: Problem parsing 'http://10.32.149.18:8400/soap11/test?WSDL'.: org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: Premature end of file. Adding a TIBCO Data Virtualization site to TIBCO Business Directory fails with an error.

Resolution
When the above error message is returned by the Business Directory while adding the TDV site, check the cs_server.log file for the below logging:
ERROR [jetty thread pool-3548] 2020-07-28 17:24:18.922 +0800 WSDeploymentManager - Error constructing base URI
java.net.URISyntaxException: Illegal character in hostname at index 37: http://ABC-RISK-MIS-30200542091052342_2:8400/soap11/test
The stack trace from the cs_server.log file indicates the root cause of the issue. These error messages are returned when the TDV site hostname contains special characters like "_" in it. In the stack trace, we can see that there is an underscore present in the hostname of the TDV server.
To resolve the issue, modify the hostname of the server where TDV is installed such that it does not contain "_" or any invalid characters.
After updating the hostname of the machine, adding a TDV site to Business Directory will be successful.
