Description

Error while adding a machine to the domain which is using EMS as a transport. 

"Validation Failed: Failed to authenticate user "admin" while adding a machine to the domain."

Installation was completed successfully, however when adding a machine to the domain, it is not Validating the user and the user is able to login to the admin from GUI.

Resolution

One possible reason is missing EMS client as EMS client is no longer bundled in TRA since 5.9.0.  Please 
1) install the EMS client on the client machine. 
2) Run traUpgradeManager to update the EMS_HOME path.
TIBCO_HOME/tra/<version>/bin> traUpgradeManager -path TIBCO_HOME -ems EMS_HOME/version

Additional information:
​    Besides EMS client libraries, users may also need to check the EMS connection and DB connection.
