Description
When attempting to modify a file under a LiveView Web project's lv-user-webapps sub-directory, the following error is given if the LiveView server is running:
If the LiveView server is stopped, files can then be edited without issue.
If the LiveView server is stopped, files can then be edited without issue.
Issue/Introduction
Can't modify LiveView Web applications in Studio when the LiveView Server is running
Resolution
Upgrade to LiveView 2.0.1 or greater. In LiveView versions prior to 2.0.1, the Jetty web server (launched as part of LiveView Server) locks the HTML files under its control by default when running, which affects development of new and updated HTML files, especially on Windows. As of version 2.0.1, the server no longer locks its files by default.
