This error is sometimes generated because the license file is a renamed .zip file and not plain-text XML.
Background
Because many email servers reject both .xml and .zip attachments, StreamBase ships licenses by zipping the XML and renaming the .zip.
FIX
- Try to open the streambase-license.xml in a text file editor.
- If it has non-text characters or will not open, rename the file to streambase-license.zip, extract, and check the resulting streambase-license.xml.
- If the content of the extracted file appears to be XML text, then place this file in '/opt/streambase/etc/'.
- Check to see if this fixes the problem
NOTE: TIBCO Streaming 10.x and later do not have a physical license file referenced by the server.
