Description
When importing files, the default time options in Statistica expects the format to be 'hh:mm:ss'. This can be changed to suit the files being imported. There are three ways this can be achieved.

This article details how you can change the default time settings when importing files in Statistica
Resolution
- The first option is to use the Statistica variable Specifications Dialog. Here, you can choose how to display the time. While the entire value will be stored in the cells, Statistica will only display what is relevant according to the option chosen here. - As another option, you can use Statistica Server to automate this. This can be done by using an Analysis Configuration (Spreadsheet Options - Display Format - TimeStamp format) . See screenshot below:
- As a final option, the settings for time can be changed when using a workspace by adding a 'Variable Format/Rename Node' to the workspace. See screenshot here:
