Error while installing TIBCO Spotfire Analyst: "Invalid Configuration: Could not read response data for request"

Description

While upgrading the TIBCO Spotfire Analyst connected to a TIBCO Spotfire Server, it throws the below error message:

Resolution

To resolve this, below are the few possible solutions:
  1. The above error message can occur when the internet speed is slow as a result of which Modules may not get downloaded. So we can try to connect to some other available network and then start TIBCO Spotfire Analyst with 'Run as administrator' and update the Spotfire Analyst.
  2. Copy the contents of the Modules folder from another PC and then paste the contents in the problematic one.
           Location Example: C:\Users\<Username>\AppData\Local\TIBCO\Spotfire Cloud\10.9.0\Modules

       3. Uninstall the TIBCO Spotfire Analyst/client completely and then install the latest TIBCO Spotfire Analyst according to the TIBCO Spotfire Server version.

Note: Temporarily disable the anti-virus programs which are running on the TIBCO Spotfire Analyst which may be interfering with the installation.
