This article provides steps needed to configure Microsoft Excel(Non-Odbc) to access network files.

To access network files in TIBCO Data Virtualization using Microsoft Excel(Non-ODBC), configure Network location credentials for TIBCO Data Virtualization services.

Follow below steps to configure the same.

Note: Run the TIBCO Data Virtualization Server Service with user credentials that has access to the files on the network drive

1. Right click on 'TDV Server' service and select 'Properties > This account' option


2. Under 'Logon' tab, click on 'Browse' to provide the network username and then select 'Check Names'. In the Windows security popup, enter the user credentials of the user account that has access to the network location.


3. Click on 'OK' to provide & confirm the password

4. Restart the TDV Server service for the changes to take effect

5. To test this configuration, login to TDV Studio and create Microsoft Excel (non-ODBC) datasource. Refer to the following screenshot for an example of the network path
