When trying to connect using TIBCO Data Virtualization connector, the following error appears:

A reason behind this can be that the wrong case has been used in the username, as TDV is case sensitive.

Issue/Introduction

When trying to connect using TIBCO Data Virtualization connector, error "Could not connect due to an unknown error" appears. A reason behind this can be wrong case in the username as TDV is case sensitive. If wrong case in username has been used, TIBCO Spotfire Analyst client needs to be restarted in order for the error to disappear.

If wrong case has been used in the username, currently the way to remove the error and be able to connect is to restart the TIBCO Spotfire Analyst client
