Is the combination of File Adapter on open systems (Unix) on one end and File Adapter for ZOS on the other end will work for SFT in ECM mode over JMS?

Issue/Introduction

Is the combination of File Adapter on open systems (Unix) on one end and File Adapter for ZOS on the other end will work for SFT in ECM mode over JMS?

Environment

Product: TIBCO (R) Adapter for files (Unix/Win) Version:5.5.0, 5.6.0, 6.0.0, 6.1.0 OS: Unix/Windown and ZOS --------------------

Resolution

TIBCO (R) Adapter for files (Unix/Win) File adapter on the Unix/Windows/Linux side allows SFT transfer with and OS/390 adapter on the mainframe side

File adapter UNIX and File adapter ZOS can not use JMS transport in SFT mode. It’s because of different JMS message format.

ZOS adapter uses JMS Map messages and File adapter UNIX uses JMS Text message which is supported by Adapter SDK.  Adapter SDK

supports only  but not the Map messages. Due to SDK limitation, RV transport is recommended for configuring SFT ECM mode for  

File Adapter on open systems (Unix) on one end and File Adapter for ZOS on the other end. Currently only Rendezvous(RV) is supported. There is enhancement request is submitted.
