Issue/Introduction
Error while creating a new bootstrap file or creating a JDBC datasource : ORA-28040: No matching authentication protocol
Resolution
The above error is casued due to incorrect or multiple oracle jdbc jar files copied to the Spotfire Server folders
1)Check if the driver used is compatible with the Oracle database version
2)Check if you do not have differnet version of drivers in

- <Spotfire Server Install>\tomcat\lib
- <Spotfire Server Install>\tomcat\webapps\spotfire\web-inf\lib folder
- For Version 10.3 and above also check <Spotfire Server Install>\tomcat\custom-ext and <Spotfire Server Install>\tomcat\spotfire-lib folders
NOTE:
- For TIBCO Spotfire Server version 10.2 and lower the driver should only be either in <Spotfire Server Install>\tomcat\lib OR <Spotfire Server Install>\tomcat\webapps\spotfire\web-inf\lib folder
- For TIBCO Spotfire Server version 10.3 and higher the ojdbcx.jar should be copied to <Spotfire Server Install>\tomcat\custom-ext folder
