Description

After upgrading LMI appliances you may see Management Station display remote appliances as unreachable or unavailable.

Prior to LMI 4.5.0, port 443/tcp was used for both the HTTPS GUI as well as for HTTPS communication between management station and managed appliances.

From 4.5.0 the HTTPS GUI and management station communication no longer use the same port.
From 4.5.0 to 6.2.1 port 4443/tcp is used strictly for management station communication with remote appliances.
From 6.3.0 onward the management station port changed again to instead use 9443/tcp.

Your firewall rules will need adjusted accordingly depending on the LMI version in use.
