Description

This procedure describes how to edit the confset using a text editor then pushing it to SMAs.

Resolution

If you need to edit a confset using the CLI with a text editor, then push it to any SMA, follow these steps:

1. Edit your confset as needed.
2. Before saving the modification, modify the following field : "lastModifiedDate". Increase the date but do not set one in future with respect to the SEM's date.
3. Save your work.
4. Restart the runtime with command:

/etc/init.d/exa_runtime_INSTANCENAME restart

5. Connect to the GUI and push your confset to an SMA using the apply button in the "agentconfiguration" menu.
6. Stand by while SEM pushes the confset.
