When trouble shooting the Lasso Windows Event Collector, the administrators should change the setting DebugLevel,0 in the Lasso.ini file to be DebugLevel,7. This will produce a number of files that can be used for debugging.
In 3.x Lasso this will cause an error that recurs on every successive run as long as the corrupt data exists in the spool.
To fix this issue:
1. Stop the Lasso service.
2. Delete the spool file: LassoSyslogNGMsgSpool.log
3. Restart Lasso.
