Description
How to hide an input from the Data Entry form without having to remove the input from Data Entry Setup ? In other words, this article details how an input field (which could be a calculated data that is confidential ) can be part of the data in the Data entry setup but still hidden from the user entering the data.
PREREQUISITES:
User with Data Entry Admin (EDE) permissions in Enterprise Manager
User with Edit permissions on the Data Entry Setup that needs to be modified.

Resolution
1. Login to Statistica Enterprise Manager as a user with permissions as stated in the prerequisites above and locate the data entry setup to be modified.
2. Double click on the input that needs to be hidden from the user entering the data.
3. Enable the option "Hidden in data entry form"
4. Enter Version comments/ Log reason if required by the system and click on commit on the top left corner of the screen to save the changes.
5. Refresh Data Entry form to see that the hidden input does not show in the form anymore.
