Description
The TIBCO Silver Fabric Enabler for TIBCO BusinessEvents (SFBE) internally checks if all the required gridlibraries are available on the Silver Fabric broker during component creation. If any of the required gridlibraries are not available on the Silver Fabric broker, when you are trying to create a BusinessEvents component from the Silver Fabric Broker UI, some of the settings in the component creation wizard might not be displayed correctly.
Most commonly, we have seen the optional distributions list is not visible in the 'Optional Distributions' page when the required 'TIBCO ActiveSpaces® Enterprise Edition Distribution for TIBCO Silver® Fabric ' is missing on the SF Broker as shown in the screenshot below,

Issue/Introduction
While creating a BusinessEvents component using 'TIBCO Silver Fabric Enabler for TIBCO BusinessEvents', the list for selecting Optional Distributions is not visible.

Resolution
The 'TIBCO ActiveSpaces® Enterprise Edition Distribution for TIBCO Silver® Fabric' gridlibrary is required if you use TIBCO BusinessEvents distribution 5.2.2 and above and is not optional. Please refer to "TIBCO Silver® Fabric Enabler for TIBCO BusinessEvents® Installation Guide" for a full list of Required and Optional Distributions for this enabler.
Once the required 'TIBCO ActiveSpaces® Enterprise Edition Distribution for TIBCO Silver® Fabric ' gridlibrary is correctly copied to the Silver Fabric broker under the location '<SF_HOME>/webapps/livecluster/deploy/resources/gridlib/', the Optional Distributions list will be populated correctly as shown in the screen-shot below.
Once the required 'TIBCO ActiveSpaces® Enterprise Edition Distribution for TIBCO Silver® Fabric ' gridlibrary is correctly copied to the Silver Fabric broker under the location '<SF_HOME>/webapps/livecluster/deploy/resources/gridlib/', the Optional Distributions list will be populated correctly as shown in the screen-shot below.
