Use the Debug tool on the Map workspace to execute a Map and watch the results to locate logic and record errors. Execute the Map either, Block by Block, in series of Blocks based on the location of breakpoints that you specify, or enable the Break On Record Error option to execute Blocks in sequence until a record error is found.

Editing a Map while in Debug Mode is not recommended. Debug loads the entire Map into the debug session and ignores any changes you make.

Exiting Debug Mode to work on the Map has the following known issue:

Clearing a field on the Block Properties Fields tab is not saved if the Block being edited has a Conditional Breakpoint set. (D32100)
