Updated On:

Products Versions
TIBCO iProcess Engine (Oracle) 11.6.1

Description

The iProcess Windows Workspace can return errors such as:

Demonstration Version: You are not able to save a procedure with more than 20 Steps.

You are limited to 20 Case Starts on a Demonstration licence.

and the iProcess Workspace Browser may return:

Start case failed with the following message:
The iProcess Objects Server returned the following error:
More then 20 cases started with demo license

The cause of these errors is the product licence has been reset to a new Demonstration licence (possibly with the use of "swconfig -n").

Environment

TIBCO iProcess Engine (Oracle) v11.6.1 on all platforms

Resolution

To resolve the issue, shutdown iProcess Engine and issue a new full licence with:

$SWDIR/util/swconfig -f

and then restart iProcess Engine.  If you have reset the swpro and swuser database passwords since installation then you may need to reset them with "swconfig -u".

Issue/Introduction

How to resolve any demonstration licence errors that appear when using iProcess Engine.
