Unable To Create Connections In TIBCO Scribe® Online

Description

When setting up a Solution in TIBCO Scribe® Online, you are required to have Connections configured.  If you are setting up a Solution and have not yet installed Connectors, you may receive the following error:

Connectors not found:
After 5 minutes, Scribe Online was unable to find your available Connectors. This can occur if a Scribe Online Agent is installed behind a firewall or Proxy. Make sure your Scribe Online Agent is configured to communicate with the Scribe Cloud and try again.


The error doesn't state anything about uninstalled Connectors, but if the Organization is new and no Connectors have been installed, this error will appear.

Resolution

To resolve the error:
 
  1. Navigate to the Marketplace and install the Connectors you require.
  2. On the Connections page, configure each Connection.
  3. Return to creating your Solution.
Note: Connections can also be created in the Map as long as the Connector has been properly installed.  However, it may be faster and easier to create the Connections you need from the Connections page.
