Description

Issue:  The DTS file runs successfully in the Workbench, but fails when I execute the DTS using command line switches in TIBCO Scribe Insight.

For example:  "C:\Program Files (x86)\Scribe\tworkbench.exe" "C:\Users\Public\Documents\Scribe\Collaborations\Default\test.dts" /SS="SERVER\SQLEXPRESS" /SD="DB_Test" /SU="XXXX" /SP="XXXX" /TS="https://disco.crm.dynamics.com/" /TA=Organization="Production" /TU="XXXX@xxxx.onmicrosoft.com" /TP="xxxxxx" /R

When attempting to run the DTS via command line, the following error displays:
Command line parameter error:  No target connection is configured to receive command line switches.  Please refer to ‘Command Line Switches’ in online help.

Resolution:   To use command line switches against a target connection with TIBCO Scribe Insight beginning with version 7.9, you must enable the option from the TIBCO Scribe Workbench.

Steps to enable

  1. Launch the Workbench and open the DTS.
  2. Click <Configure Steps>
  3. Select the Data Objects tab
  4. Check the box “This connection can receive command line switches”
  5. Save the DTS
