TIBCO Scribe® has released an update to the Connector for Microsoft Dynamics 365 / CRM that includes the following changes: 
 

  • This release of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 / CRM Connector was built against version 9.0.0.5 of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 SDK. (46632)
  • Added support for multi-select option picklists in Query, Create, Update, and Lookup operations. (58823)

  • Added support for Date only and time zone independent field types. (13803)
  • Disabled Batch Processing for CalendarRule and ActivityParty entities to ensure that both parent and child records are successfully written to Microsoft Dynamics 365 / CRM and prevent an erroneous successful record count in Execution History. (11317 / Case # 52871)
  • Leading spaces were removed from field values when creating an address in Dynamics 365. (14415 / Case # 79374)
  • Creating a System User and assigning that user to a Business Unit generated errors similar to the following: (57663 / Case # 62633)
Message: The following error has occurred in the Dynamics 365 Connector: System.Exception: Invalid Set Business User Request
  • Using a Query, Fetch, or Lookup Block to access a record with a money data type field when Agent debug was enabled, generated errors similar to the following: (30717 / Case # 85649)

NOTE: If you are connecting to Microsoft Dynamics 365 version 9.0 and you are using Replication Solutions with the Recommended Entities option enabled, you may encounter an error.

For On-Premise Agents, follow the steps below to resolve the error.

For Cloud Agents, contact TIBCO Support.

 
  1. On the server where your TIBCO Scribe® Online Agent is installed, navigate to the Agent folder and delete the metadata file.Typically, the path and file name are similar to the following:
 C:\Program Files (x86)\Scribe Software\Scribe Online Agent\Connectors\Scribe.Adapter.Crm\Metadata_167207926
  1. In TIBCO Scribe® Online, select More > Connections.
  2. Locate your Microsoft Dynamics 365 Connection and select Reset Metadata from the Gear menu.
  3. Open your Dynamics 365 Replication Solution and choose All Entities.
  4. When the Solution is done Preparing, choose Recommended Entities again. The entities listed above are now excluded from the list of Recommended Entities.
  5. When the Solution is done Preparing, it is ready to execute again.

NOTE: To access any changes to metadata support, such as new operations, entities, or fields, reset metadata for the Connection. See Resetting Metadata in the TIBCO Scribe® Online Help.
