Scribe is releasing an update to the Connector for Microsoft Dynamics 365 (compatible with Dynamics CRM) with the following enhancements and addressed issues:

Enhancements
 

  • Enhanced logging used for diagnostics. (28990)
  • Added controls to the Connection User Interface for Bulk Concurrent Calls and Bulk Batch Size to control the number of simultaneous calls to the Dynamics 365 API and the number of records in a batch when Batch Processing is enabled for a target operation, such as Delete. Defaults are 2 API calls and 500 records per batch. (35727) See TIBCO Scribe Online Connector For Microsoft Dynamics 365 in the TIBCO Scribe Online Help for additional information on these settings.
  • Execute operation to support complex product catalog integration requirements for products, product families, and product bundles using for the following new virtual entities:
    • CloneProductHierarchy (10401)
    • PublishProductHierarchy (10390)
    • RevertProductHierarchy (10396)


Addressed Issues
 
  • Fixed a paging issue when integrating large numbers of parent/child records into a target datastore where the execution stopped after processing approximately 1000 records and no error was generated. (D33267 / Case # 89086)
  • When using a GUID as match criteria for an Update/Insert operation, if there was no matching record, the Insert operation did not complete and the Map failed. (D33985 / Case # 89099)
  • Enabling Batch Processing on target operations caused timeout errors when processing a large number of records. (D33998 / Case # 89235, 88959)
  • Updating Dynamics 365 with NULL values using the primary key as the match criteria was unsuccessful and the original value was retained. (D34008 / Cases # 89143)
  • Mapping the primary key in an Update operation generated the following error: Cannot insert duplicate key. (34500 / Case # 54958)
  • Added support for custom fields of type customer and customeridtype customerid, which resolves the following error that occurred when trying to update field xxx_customerid: Attribute xxx_customerididtype must not be NULL if attribute xxx_customerid is not NULL. (37930, 31908 / Case # 52352) Refer to the Id And Idtype section of the TIBCO Scribe Online Connector for Microsoft Dynamics 365 help for an example of how to map fields that are dependent on each other.
  • Added support for date/time fields values as early as 1/1/1753. (39367 / Case # 57218)
  • For Replication Solutions, deleted records were not being purged from the target datastore after 60 days. (40630 / Case # 56502)
