Using TIBCO Scribe® Online IS with the Dynamics 365 / CRM Connector as your target Connection, you will notice that your picklist or Option Set fields are of type Integer32.

Typically, you would not want to link data to a target field that is the incorrect datatype, however, the Dynamics 365 / CRM Connector allows you to use the picklist display name, a String, and automatically assigns the correct numeric value for you during processing.
 
When mapping fields, you can hover over the Info icon on the target-side panel to expand additional metadata information. See the red box in the description section of the image. The description includes all of the available values you can assign to the field in the Map editor. See the red box in the field mapping section of the image. This helps you avoid finding the numeric values in Dynamics 365 / CRM and/or creating a Lookup Table.
