Running application from Studio hangs at "waiting for the StreamBase Server to accept connections"

Description
When I attempt to run or debug my application in Studio, the launch hangs with the message "waiting for the StreamBase Server to accept connections".
Resolution
To avoid this issue, go to Window > Preferences > General > Network Connections. Change the Active Provider to 'Direct' or disable individual proxy entries shown in the list. See the following screen capture for reference.
