The installers for the GA version of Object Service Broker for Open Systems v6.0.0 will fail on versions of Windows later than Windows 2008.
A message box will be displayed that reads:
OSB 6.0 is not supported in this platform: 6.2

This is because of an overly restrictive check on the version of the host operating system.

OSB is, in fact, supported on later versions of Windows and Windows Server, including 2012, 8, 8.1, and 10 .

Revised installers were published as Hotfix 15. The hotfix contains only the revised installers; no changes to the product itself are included. This hotfix is not packaged using the normal hotfix packaging conventions, since installers cannot normally be part of a hotfix.

The installers will create an installation equivalent to 6.0.0 HF14.

Note that OSB is supported in 32- and 64-bit Windows environments,  but remains a 32-bit application.
