Issue/Introduction
In TIBCO Spotfire Metrics, what does the "Actual value" represent?
Resolution
The "Actual value" is the KPI (key performance indicator) value for that particular data set is the latest value returned from the data set.
For example, if you write a select query on a table. Select top 10 values from Table, if that results in 10 rows then whatever value that is returned on the top (1st value) is the "Actual value" In Spotfire Metrics. So the "Actual value" depends on how you formulate your query, like 'Order by' or 'Sort by' with Descending or Ascending, etc.
