Description
What timezone are timestamp variables from the CSALARM table based on?
Resolution
The CSALARM table queried from the Enterprise database (SEWSS) includes information about triggered alarms from the MAS service. There are two timestamp columns "CTIME" (time the alarm is created) and "ACKTIME"(time the alarm is acknowledged). Both times are recorded to database in UTC/GMT timezone. As such, the dashboards running in different time zones can convert from a known timezone(i.e. UTC), to the local one.
Issue/Introduction
This article talks about the timezone of timestamp variables in the table "CSALARM" from the Enterprise database.
