TIBCO ActiveMatrix Policy Director 1.1.0 now supports JRE 1.8.0 when used to enforce policies on TIBCO ActiveMatrix Service Grid (AMX) endpoints. Before upgrading JRE, make sure that AMX 3.3.0 HF9 or above is installed. Refer to the TIBCO ActiveMatrix Updater Tool for Java Runtime Environment Documentation to update the JRE version to JRE 1.8.

Note: If upgrading to JRE 1.8.0_172 or later updates, install AMX 3.3.0 HF23 and follow the instructions mentioned in AMX 3.3.0 HF23 readme under closed issue AMX-16650.
