This article briefly describes what does 'Source data loaded from Information Designer' in the Source Information tab means.

Generally, when the data is loaded from Information Link, we see the complete information in the Source Information tab something like shown below:

But sometimes we see only the following message in the source information tab: (Refer Attached Filename:missing_Source_Info.JPG)

1. Source data loaded from Information Designer.

This message indicates that the data is opened from the Information Link which has not been saved yet in the library. Since the Information Link was not saved prior to Open Data, it does not have a GUID and hence its path is absent in the Source Information tab. So to have the complete information, save the Information Link first and then open the data.

Source Information tab only reads 'Source data loaded from Information Designer'. What does that mean?
