There can be two scenarios while installing multiple Node Manager Service instances.
Multiple service instances can be either put under one Node Manager service or multiple node manager services can have one service instance each. Choosing one of the two options depends on the requirements.

Resolution
If the Node Manager machine does not have enough disk space to manage the load of multiple service instances, it is a good idea to install multiple node managers on different machines and then add the service instances to the NM Services accordingly. This will not strain the node manager machine.
