Introduction
This document describes how to troubleshoot an error message that is received on the Tibco Data Virtualization (TDV) when authenticating a web service.
Problem
This error message appears on the TDV:
Error: 401 Unauthorized
Description: The user "<ldap_user>" in domain "composite" is invalid.
[security-1900202]
The web service authenticates successfully with the user ID and password from the composite domain, but it causes an error due to the user domain LDAP account credentials.

Use this format for authentication in order to resolve this issue:
