Description
When opening a visualization dashboard, a plugin error occurs and the dashboard will not open? How can this be fixed?
Issue/Introduction
This article discusses how to fix the issue with the visualization dashboards that occurs when opening a dashboard in Statistica 13.4.
Environment
Windows operating systems only. Windows 7 and above.
Resolution
This is fixed by modifying the statist.exe.config file.
There are two ways to apply this fix:
- If the statist.exe.config file has been unmodified, which is most likely, located in the main install directory, replace it with the version attached. You can verify if there are any modifications by comparing the current version against the attached version and confirming the only differences are the lines that have been added (tan area in the screenshot below):
- If the statist.exe.config file has been modified, copy/paste the lines added from the attached version of statist.exe.config to current version (like it is done in the screenshot above).
Also, make sure the statist.exe.config is file that is replaced or modified not the stat.exe.config.
