Description
Resolution: Title: How to avoid following error When running or installing TIBCO file adapter 5.6.0 Application? Ordinal xxxx could not be found in the dynamic link library LIBEAY32.dll, or Ordinal xxxx could not be found in the dynamic link library SSLEAY32.dll.
Resolution: Answer-
1) Per TRA LBN# LBN1-1F42Z9, you can replace Rename, remove, or replace BOTH the files libeay32.dll and ssleay32.dll in C:\Windows\system32 with the files in TIBCO_RV_HOME\bin.
2) Its seen in some cases, windows\system32 does not contain libeay32.dll and ssleay32.dll files and these files are found inside adapter\sdk\5.5\bin which conflicts with tibrv\8.1\bin. If customer does not want to place tibco dll into windows\system32 directory, then try the following
a. Try to find tibco.env.PATH in your file adapter tra(generated after deployment) file? If it is pointing to SDK/bin first followed by RV/bin then try to change the order(RV/bin first followed by SDK/bin)
b. Make sure Windows system PATH contains sdk used by adapter tra file first if multiple SDK versions present. e.g if sdk 5.6 and sdk 5.5 present and if adapter tra contains sdk 5.5 path then windows system PATH should reflect the same. Otherwise adapter will fail to start.
