This article applies to upgrade of the SDMS Server. The SDMS client has not changed hence negating the need to upgrade SDMS clients.

PREREQUISITES:

• An existing SDMS install (1.0.9 or earlier)
• Installer downloaded from : https://edelivery.tibco.com/storefront/view-download.ep?sku=11760-1&version=13.4.0 (Details in Resolution section below)
• Recommended Safety measure : Take a backup of : [drive]:\Program Files (x86)\[install directory]\SDMS\Data\Documents on the SDMS Server (Not Mandatory)

DOWNLOAD

To download SDMS installer 13.4 (or 1.0.10) login to edelivery site by clicking on the URL above. Choose Version 13.4 and Windows for platform . Accept the End User License agreement and select Individual file download and click on the download button next to TIB_stat-dms_13.3.0_win.zip

 

UPGRADE :
1. Copy the installer to the SDMS Server.Close all instances of SDMS and Statistica.
2.  Unzip the TIB_stat-dms_13.3.0_win.zip file and from the extracted folder, run setup.exe as an Administrator.
3.  The installer will ask if you want to continue to upgrade the SDMS version. Click Yes.

    
4.  Click Next  on the following dialog

  
5.  Installer will warn you that the service needs to shutdown. Choose Automatically close and attempt to restart and click OK.

  
6. Install will succeed. Click Finish

  
7. [OPTIONAL]  You can open Control Panel | Programs and features and ensure SDMS is upgraded. Version should be listed 1.0.10
