Description
If TIBCO ActiveMatrix(R) Adapter for Files for Unix/Win (FA) is run in SFT mode and the value specified for progress filename under SFT tab is invalid (e.g., "C:\test\input\progress\Pub1") then FA crashes with the error message "TIBCO Java Launcher has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.".

Resolution
For avoiding the above error message and for avoiding TIBCO ActiveMatrix(R) Adapter for Files for Unix/Win to get crashed, the value to be given for progress filename under SFT tab for a publication service should be valid.
The progress filename can be specified using only the LATIN_1 or ASCII character set.
By default, the progress filename is __InstanceNameServiceName.prg
