"Error 1406. Could not write value Class to key..." during a Statistica installation

Description
An "Error 1406. Could not write value Class to key..." occurs in the install log file and\or dialog prompt during installation.
Cause: This is likely caused by either a problem with the registry or insufficient permissions to the registry under the current user account.
Resolution
RESOLUTION 1:
Reboot the computer and try again in case this is just a transient error.
RESOLUTION 2:
Try the standard list of items for a failed install found in the Statistica installation fails to run to completion knowledge base article.
RESOLUTION 3:
Follow the Microsoft article on modifying the registry permissions so the users account can write to the registry here.
