Installing WebStatistica (Statistica Server) on a server separate from the Statistica application or license server

Description
This article details the steps necessary to install WebStatistica (now Statistica Server) on a separate server.
Environment
Resolution
1. When installing the Statistica Server (previously known as WebStatistica), select the “Custom” option. This is the first server.
2. De-select the option for WebSTATISTICA. Install at least the Statistica License Manager service component. Typically Statistica and the STATISTICA License Manager Service.
3. Complete the installation.
4. Now run the installer on the 2nd server.
5. Once again, choose the “Custom” option.
6. Then select only the options for Statistica and WebStatistica (Note: WebStatistica cannot be installed without also installing Statistica).
8. When asked to provide the ClientSTAT.tmp location, browse to the location of the FLEXlm folder on the first server (note that the FLEXlm folder must be shared).
9. Then complete the installation as usual.
Note: WebStatistica and Live Score cannot be installed on the same server.
