Description
How to disable the prompt to update the Spotfire Analyst client, instead of asking users to decline updates each time they open the application?
Resolution
It is not possible to disable the update prompts in the Spotfire client.
However, you can have your users connect only to the Production deployment area on Spotfire Server so that it can remain static, while you apply and test new hotfixes to a Test deployment area on Spotfire Server. After you have tested the latest cumulative hotfix in your Test deployment area, you can then deploy the same hotfix to your Production deployment area. Your users will then be prompted to accept updates the next time they log into the Production deployment area.
